It will be very hard when actually you are following a bad leader. I found some people quit from their jobs because of a bad leader.
I have found out in many people who are leaving from one job to another that they have one thing in common in the reason why they quit their jobs. They do not quit from the company or business, but indeed these people abandon other people.
People are easy come and go from one company to another because for the first time they have a certain reason in joining as a part of a company. It is probably they found an opportunity from the company vision that they do not want to lose. Or else, they may even admire one of the leaders in the company. There are numerous intentions of people when they want to be part of the business. However, when they go out of the business, they have similar reason. There is one motivation for people to leave for something better out there that they want to escape from someone in the company.
As the leader, you must introspect yourself when people quit you might be related to it. In fact, the leader often becomes the reason.
This article wants to say that often people quit from their positions or company and the reality shows that they frequently leave their leaders. The company does not do anything worse for them but most people do it. Occasionally, the main possible cause of the problem that results in people leaving so early is from the partner or co-worker itself. The other possible cause is that the leaders are alienating other individuals.
Almost all leaders have the ability of making a good impression during the first personal contact. This will encourage the optimism of people when they start their new positions in the company or business. However, when the time passed by, the people will recognize the leaders real characters. It is only a matter of time when people find out if their leaders is actually is not that good as they think.
So, this can be concluded that the main reason why people quit from their jobs is that people devalue them. It is the nature of human kind that they like to hear good things said about them and they need to be appreciated. Anyway, most people do not receive positive response and acknowledgement on the job. Often, it is contradictory that the people feel devalued. The top management, seniors, or supervisors often treat them as if they are not really needed and place them far below. This will cause disaster in the company especially in the working relationship.
There is also a finding that when people devalue other people then they begin to manipulate them. They will treat them not as people but only objects. This kind of action is not a typical good leader to do.
The only solution to solve this problem is to find people value and show positive appreciation on the employee. The next thing is to give praise when they show their contribution. You can look for something to appreciate them and they will give the appreciation for working in your company in return.
